Just south of London,
BRIGHTON is one of the country's most vibrant cities. The town's fame as
a fashionable seaside resort was noted in 1783, when the then Prince of Wales,
later Prince Regent and ultimately King George IV, became a regular visitor. He
built a beautiful Indian style palace called the Royal Pavilion which remains
as Brighton's most distinctive landmark. Now, even more than two centuries later
the city has lost none of its appeal and continues to attract a host of famous
residents. With 400 restaurants serving an international spectrum from traditional
English fare to exotic Thai dishes, you can enjoy excellent cuisine in Brighton.
